Seville awakens to the solemn ringing of the Giralda bell. It is August 15, and the sky, still cool and blue, heralds one of the most eagerly awaited days of the calendar. It is the day of the Virgin of the Kings, patron saint of Seville, and from early in the morning, hundreds of faithful gather around the Cathedral to see her leave in procession.
The bells announce her arrival. The Puerta de los Palos gate opens and the Virgin appears amid murmurs, prayers, and emotional glances. Wrapped in the gold of her mantle, she advances over a sea of white flowers, while the light of dawn envelops her in an almost heavenly glow.
Tradition has it that it was King San Fernando himself who dreamed of this image before conquering Seville. In his vision, the Virgin guided him through the shadows towards the light. Since then, she has been not only a sacred image, but also the deepest symbol of the soul of the city.
From this serene and powerful devotion comes “Regina", a perfume that pays tribute to her spiritual greatness.
Its opening notes are pure orange blossom, like a bright morning in the courtyards of Seville. This is followed by tuberose, solemn, reflecting the majesty of her mantle. Rose blossoms in its heart, symbolizing the love of the people who return faithfully year after year. And in the base notes, powdery iris evokes the intimacy of her dressing room, the elegance of the eternal.
“Regina” is not just a fragrance. It is a prayer made scent, a promise on the skin. A tribute to Seville and its Queen, to the devotion that is transmitted in silence, generation after generation.
